When admitted to the program, and after payment of the tuition fee, you will be officially registered as a student at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR).


Cost of living
Prospective international students should be aware that for housing and daily sustenance, at least € 800 to € 950 per month is needed, in addition to the tuition fees mentioned above.  

Scholarships, grants, and awards
The university does not offer full scholarships to MSc students. In recent years, however, a number of our MSc Molecular Medicine students did receive a (partial) scholarship, grant, or award.

  • Nuffic Huygens Scholarship Program (HSP) - for excellent foreign students
  • Nuffic Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) - for non-EU foreign students
  • EUR Prof Bruins Prize – award for best EUR research master student
  • EUR Gerrit Jan Mulder Prize – award for best research report

Tuition waivers for non-EU students
Erasmus MC has established cooperative agreements with a number of universities around the world. You may be eligible for a tuition waiver if you are a student from one of these universities.
