Minghui Li

Minghui Li BSc is a MSc student in Clinical Epidemiology at the Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

M. HuninkShe received her previous education in China. She got her Bachelor in Nursing from Bengbu Medical University. She initially worked as a Registered Nurse in the People’s Hospital of Huangshan city, Anhui Province. And she was also a chief teacher for junior nurses and students. She is experienced in nursing of oncology, obstetrics and gynaecology, infectious diseases, cardiovasology and CCU care, nephrology, dialysis and acute toxicosis first aid, endocrinology and metabolic disease, haematology, gastroenterology, neurology, emergency and intensive care. In addition, she was also well trained in paediatric nursing as well as operative and surgical nursing.
In the year of 2010, she was selected by the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences (Nihes), a 2-year Research Master Programme in Clinical Epidemiology. Currently, she is doing her research,  which focuses on non-pharmacological interventions for patients with cardiac syndrome X. And is being supervised by Prof. Myriam Hunink, MD, PhD.

Research
Minghui’s current research focuses on the non-pharmacological interventions for effort induced angina pectoris and decreased exercise tolerance in patients with cardiac syndrome X. She aims at determining the effective interventions and good health- care for these patients, with the intent of relieving their angina and improving their exercise capacity and health related quality of life.
