A. Iglesias GonzalezAdriana received her medical degree from Universidad el Bosque, Bogotá, Colombia. She completes her compulsory social service as a general physician on emergency medicine and pediatrics in Paujil, Caquetá, Colombia. She worked as general physician in emergency department at Clinica Reina Sofia, Bogotá Colombia.
During her first year of Master in Human Genetics at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia she received an Erasmus-Columbus (ERACOL) scholarship for one-year full-time Master Program in Genetic Epidemiology at the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences (NIHES). Her master was under the supervision of A.Cecile J.W. Janssens, PhD
Currently, she is working as a PhD student at the Genetic Epidemiology Unit under the supervision of Cornelia M. van Duijn, PhD and Caroline C. Klaver.

Adriana’s Master research focused on the assessment of the quality of reporting of genetic risk prediction studies. This evaluation was performed based on the 25 items of the Genetic RIsk Prediction (GRIPS) Statement, a reporting guideline which aim to maximize the transparency, quality and completeness of reporting on research methodology and findings in genetic risk prediction studies.
